3. Purpose of Complaint
고소인은 피고소인을 상대로 아래와 같이 모욕죄로 고소를 제기하오니 철저히 조사하여 법에 따라 엄벌에 처해주시기 바랍니다.
The complainant hereby files this criminal complaint against the accused for the crime of defamation by insult and respectfully requests a thorough investigation and punishment to the fullest extent of the law.
4. 범죄사실 및 고소이유
4. Facts of the Crime and Grounds for Complaint
가.
피고소인은 서울특별시 ○○구 ○○동 1번지 ○○양품점 주인으로서 0000. 0. 0. 고소인이 위 양품점에 T셔츠를 살려고 들어갔었는데 마침 5-6명의 고객이 몰려와서 물건을 사려고 하고 있었습니다.

The accused is the owner of ○○ Clothing Store located at No. 1, ○○-dong, ○○ District, Seoul. On 0.0.0000, the complainant entered the store to purchase a T-shirt, and around five to six customers came in at the same time to buy items.

고소인은 마음에 드는 T셔츠를 추려 주인에게 얼마냐고 값을 물었더니 10,000원이라 하여 현재 시세보다 비싸기에 7,000원만 하자고 하니까 당신 도둑질해서 밥 먹고 살지요? 우리 양품점은 물건 팔아서 먹고 삽니다. 공짜로 주는 데가 있으면 그곳으로 가 보시요 하기에 하도 어의가 없던 중 옆 고객들이 고소인을 도둑놈으로 오인 모두가 밖으로 뛰쳐나가면서 우리 돈을 훔치러 온 모양이지 하면서 수근거렸습니다.

The complainant selected a T-shirt and asked the owner for the price, which was 10,000 KRW. As this was higher than the usual market price, the complainant suggested 7,000 KRW instead. The accused then said, “Do you make a living by stealing? We make our living by selling goods. If you want things for free, go somewhere that gives them away.”
Hearing this absurd remark, nearby customers misunderstood the complainant as a thief. They rushed outside, whispering comments such as, “Looks like he came to steal our money.”

위와 같이 피고소인은 고소인을 모욕하였으므로 이 모욕당함을 참을 수 없어 고소를 제기하오니 처벌하여 주시기 바랍니다.

By making such insulting remarks, the accused publicly insulted the complainant. Unable to tolerate this humiliation, the complainant files this complaint and requests appropriate punishment under the law.
